Jillissa Anderson

Jillissa Anderson grew up playing clarinet in the thriving music scene near Madison Wisconsin, being involved in every honors group and special performing arts that she could be. At an early age she grew very passionate about clarinet and sharing music with others. Jillissa received her Bachelor’s degree in Clarinet Performance from Cedarville University and a Masters in Clarinet Performance with a pedagogy emphasis from Wright State University.
Jillissa currently has a flourishing clarinet studio, Clarinet Camerata Music, where she teaches students all over the Tri-State area and clinicians for local highschools and Universities. In addition to teaching, Jillissa is the Eb clarinet player for the Springboro Wind Symphony and performs in the Centerville Woodwind quintet. Passionate about pedagogy, Jillissa is the Clarinet Ambassador Manager for Lisa’s Clarinet Shop– building other clarinet entrepreneurs around the country to provide education and resources for the community in which they live.
In her spare time, Jillissa has three kids (Chloe, Asher and Micah) and enjoys baking.
