Wallis Vore is currently the clarinet instructor at the University of Dayton. Dedicated to education, she maintains a full private studio throughout Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky. Her students perform regularly and often hold high chairs in the All-State ensembles in Kentucky and Ohio, Northern Kentucky Select Band and Wind Ensemble, Cincinnati Youth Wind Ensemble, and Dayton Philharmonic Youth Orchestra.

Mrs. Vore is a prominent freelance musician in the Dayton, Cincinnati, and Northern Kentucky areas. She performs regularly with The Dayton Philharmonic, The Richmond Symphony (IN), The Springfield Symphony, The Blue Ash Symphony, and The Kentucky Symphony. Proficient on auxiliary instruments, she is often called to play E-flat and bass clarinet.

Formerly the second clarinet of The Ashlawn Highland Opera Festival, she is well versed in both symphonic and operatic repertoire. She was an Artist-in-Residence at the Bay View Music Festival from 2009-2011. While there, she performed weekly concerts as a soloist or in a chamber music ensemble, as well as, gave weekly coachings and lessons to the students attending the festival.

Mrs. Vore has given masterclasses throughout Ohio, Kentucky, Virginia and Illinois on performance preparation, being a freelance musician, and building your own private studio. Additionally, she has been a guest artist with the Camerata Woodwind Quintet and a guest clinician at the Wright State University Annual Clarinet Day.

She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Master of Music degree in clarinet performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where she is currently a D.M.A candidate. Her teachers include Richie Hawley, Ron Aufmann, Steve Cohen, Ron deKant, and Dr. Charles West.
