Auditions
Auditions for 2024 Tri-State Ensembles will be done by recorded audition and submitted electronically via email to bryan@tristateensembles.com. Please click the online registration link below.
Each person submitting an audition recording MUST register prior to submitting the recorded audition. There is a $23 non-refundable audition fee.

Choose one of the songs below. Please read below for exact direction. Please say your name at the beginning of the recording.
Please learn the parts in one of these songs for your particular instrument or vocal. You will play along with the track for the audition, but really want you to make it your own. We will not be providing exact notation since part of our focus for this ensemble will be listening to all the parts of a song and creating our own unique arrangements. We are using popular songs but we are not trying to be a cover band. Since we will have unique instrumentation our arrangement will need to reflect that. We will also be focusing on creativity and part writing. In real life band applications it is always very important and valuable as a musician to bring creative ideas and parts to the table.
